I talk about anything and everything related to the Continental Divide Trail (CDT).  Karma and I have both thru-hiked the trail twice, giving us loads of experience.  In 2015, I hiked southbound and in 2022, we both hiked northbound.

These are posts based on my experience on this wonderfully difficult trail.  I talk about how I hike in sandals, the best seasons for hiking, and the backpacking gear we used.

The CDT runs along the spine of the Rocky Mountains between the Mexican Border and the Canadian Border.  It travels through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.  Since it’s still incomplete, it has many route alternates.  This makes it a choose-your-own-adventure trail and unlike the Appalachian Trail (AT) and the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT).
